Professional Background
I am an endorsed Mental Health Occupational Therapist with over 10 years experience across a range of mental health settings. I am currently undertaking a Master’s in End of Life and Palliative Care, with a focus on grief, mortality, and meaning. This informs my interest in supporting people through distress, trauma, and periods of significant life transition.
About Me
In 2023, I experienced the loss by suicide of one of the most significant people in my life. It was an experience that reshaped my understanding of trauma, care, and what it means to be supported.Despite years of working in mental health, it was through this period that I came to understand, in a much deeper way, how trauma can shape a person’s capacity to engage with the world, and how recovery is not only possible, but life changing when the right support is available.Analogue House was developed in response to this experience. The person I lost worked in the adult industry, and her chosen vocation created barriers to accessing the care she needed. This reality sits at the core of my work.I now bring both professional experience and lived understanding to the development of a service designed to improve access to safe, respectful, and responsive mental health care for sex workers and other hard to reach communities. In this work, it is my intention to carry forward her legacy in my life and extend it to a community we both care deeply about. Analogue House is being developed as part of a longer term vision to contribute to suicide prevention and improved mental health outcomes through accessible, stigma aware, and community informed care.

• Eating Disorder Treatment Plans under the Better Access initiative
